Past Trustees


This page is dedicated to honoring the individuals who served Spencer Township as trustees, aiming to preserve the township's rich history. The first trustee was elected in 1833, and while some dates may be estimations based on available information, the historical record shows an evolution in the term length. In 1851, the law changed to yearly elections. In 1873, the term was extended to two years, and finally, in 1889, the current four-year term for township trustees was established.
