While many residents may not be fully aware of what we do, our Township government is here to serve you. It is comprised of a Trustee and a three-member Advisory Board, all elected by the residents of the Township. The Trustee administers the township, and like the Advisory Board members, serves a four-year term. These elected officials must live in the Townships in which they serve, making it a true grass-roots local unit of government.
Crucially, our office provides a variety of essential services, including fire protection, cemetery maintenance, and Township Assistance. Township Assistance is a vital program for residents who find themselves in need of emergency shelter and basic needs, including utilities.
One of the most valuable aspects of Township government is that it is local and accessible. While the office has limited hours, I am personally on call 24 hours a day to assist residents in emergency situations, such as the loss of shelter.
It is a privilege to serve you, and I am personally dedicated to providing service with the highest level of commitment, dedication, and compassion. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or comments.
All my best,
